Customs duties and limits

Customs Duties

Import of goods into Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan

From 1 April 2024 there is a duty-free limit for importing goods into Russia (as well as Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan) in the amount of 200€ per parcel! The duty-free limit is the limit on the value of goods that can be received from abroad in one parcel without paying customs duty. If the value of the contents of the parcel exceeds the limit, the recipient will pay a duty of 15% of the excess upon receipt or online.

Rules for importing goods to other countries

When sending goods to other countries, please familiarise yourself with the current customs restrictions of the respective country. Familiarisation as well as compliance with all customs regulations is the responsibility of the Shopogolic customer.

How can I avoid paying duties?

  • Try not to exceed the limits, divide your goods into several parcels and send to different recipients.
  • Send your parcels taking into account the weight and amount of attachments and the limits in the month after the first parcel is sent.
  • The first day from the day the parcel arrives at customs is counted, not the calendar month.
  • Use different names for categories of goods. Fill in the declaration as much detail as possible, using synonyms and different product categories.
  • Describe your goods in the parcel so that Customs will not be suspicious.
  • Do not send prohibited items or Customs may destroy the entire shipment
