It all started with the opening of a small kiosk in Blackpool back in 1979. It was during those times that the independent music scene began to take shape. Later, a website was launched in Preston, where today you can find limited editions, classic cult albums, and the latest top artists. Action Record has always been at the forefront of musical trends over the years and even established its own record label, under which it has released works by The Boo Radleys, Dandelion Adventure, Big Red Bus, Genocides, Tompaulin, Fi-Lo Radio, and other bands.
